Course Objectives:

Problem Recognition: Identifying common hard and soft tissue lesions with their appropriate treatment recommendations.
Course Goals:
1. To increase general dentist's knowledge with a variety of clinical and radiographical pathologic scenarios.
2. To empower dentists to make informed and evidence - based decisions regarding treatment planning
3. To help dentists prevent, recognize and manage potential surgical complications
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of the presentation, dentists should be better able to:
1. Interpret and evaluate dental radiographs ( including, periapical, panoramic and cone-beam CTs, if applicable )
to diagnose normal pathology, analyze anatomical considerations.
2. Formulate a problem list and appropriate diagnosis
3. Understand and apply principles of risk assessment

The New York State constituent of the Academy of General Dentistry is an approved program provider.
