Dr. Musikant is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Academy of General Dentistry, The Dental Society of NY, First District Dental Society, Academy of Oral Medicine, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the American Society of Dental Aesthetics. He is also a fellow of the American College of Dentistry (FACD).
Course Goals and Objectives
A hands-on endodontic workshop that introduces dentists to safer more effective means of instrumenting and obturating the canals. Most specifically, the techniques the dentist learns in this hands-on course virtually eliminate instrument separation, debride the canals in three dimensions and minimize the potential for canal distortion. And this is accomplished, being engine-driven, with practically no hand fatigue while reducing the procedural time requirements. The techniques learned in this course provide for multiple usage of the instruments yielding a major reduction in cost.
This hands-on course is most effective because the dentist gets ample opportunity to see that all claims made for these procedures are valid. The concerns that dentists have regarding rotary systems are all eliminated significantly reducing procedural stress. For this reason alone, the major manufacturers of rotary instrumentation don’t want you to know about this course.
Learning Objectives:
. To employ instrumentation techniques that eliminate instrument separation
. To utilize instrumentation techniques that provide for three-dimensional debridement
. To use techniques that avoid distortions in even highly curved canals
. To virtually eliminate practically all hand fatigue
. To understand why multiple usage of the instruments is routinely acceptable with great cost
savings
. Appreciating why the combination of the techniques you learn in this course will eliminate all
the stresses encountered with rotary systems and make your endodontic procedures a less
tedious task
Continental breakfast will be served
