About the Speaker
Dr. David Momtaheni is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and an Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist. His post-graduate trainings were completed at Tufts, Harvard and Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His unique dual specialty in OMFS and OMFP, which includes only 16 in the country, gives him an advantage both professionally and academically. Dr. Momtaheni was the Director of TMJ and Facial Pain at Montefiore Medical Center from 1983-1989.
He practices at Rockefeller Center. He is a Clinical Professor at CDM, Division of OMFS. He has been an active faculty member at CDM for the past 32 years performing major Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and giving lectures and CE courses. He has served in the Dean’s Advisory Committee for the past 12 years.
Dr. Momtaheni is specialized in Facial Reconstructive Surgery, Implantology and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders.
